General parking
Car parking is available in Matlock Bath at the:

- Masson Mills (DE4 3PY) on the A6 Derby side of the village
- Gulliver's attraction, Temple Road (DE4 3PG)
Please note that on fireworks nights car parks in and around Matlock Bath are likely to be full several hours before the Illuminations start. Please consider the park and ride option (below).
Nearby Matlock is well served by car parks and the regular train service runs from there to Matlock Bath. Matlock car parks include the 192-space Station Car Park (DE4 3NA) right next to the train and bus station.
Park & Ride
A Park & Ride service operates from 5pm to 10.30pm on Firework Saturdays & Sunday 26 October (4pm to 9.30pm) during the 2025 season from Cromford Meadows, Cromford (dropping off at Pavilion Car Park, Matlock Bath)(Sat Nav - DE4 3RQ / 53.110300,-1.553536)

It is advisable to use the Park & Ride service after 5pm as the car parks in Matlock Bath may be full.
Train services to Matlock Bath
Trains usually operate to Matlock Bath from Derby, Nottingham and Matlock along the Derwent Valley Line every hour Monday to Saturday and, on Sundays, every two hours in the morning and then every hour from early afternoon until late evening.

Travel to Matlock Bath by train, show your train ticket at the Derwent Gardens entrance and SAVE £1.50 on the admission price to the Illuminations on the night so long as the event hasn't already sold out.
