- Walk description: Here are two walks at the same time around the park and central Matlock area. You choose on the day whether you want a very short walk or a slightly longer walk. Both walks are on good ground and at a very steady pace. If we go up at a hill this is at a very steady pace, stopping as many times as needed to get to the top.
Walking as part of a small group is a good way to start and keep going. You will make friends, encourage each other and discover new walks in and around your neighbourhood. They are perfect for people who don't fancy intense exercise. You can start off slowly and build up gradually as you get more confident. This is a lovely opportunity to walk with a group of people who care about each others welfare and look after one another.
